Batch processing
Batch LRC Splitter
Extract Stereo L/R and Center from Multichannel WAV Files
- Lifetime Pro
- One file at a time
- Saved as each file finishes
- Files stay local
Multichannel WAV files → identify L / R / C → export stereo LR + mono C
Correct results depend on correct channel identification. Roles are read from the WAV channel mask and explicit track names (iXML, bext). When a file has no reliable channel-layout metadata, or its metadata disagrees, you confirm which channel is Left, Right and Center for that file before it is processed.
Drop your multichannel WAV files here
WAV files with 3 or more channels. Processed locally, one file at a time.
Output
Each file is downloaded as soon as it is ready. Your browser may ask once to allow multiple downloads.
✓ Lifetime Pro feature. ✓ Your audio stays on your device. Batch LRC Splitter has no dedicated single-file version yet: to extract L/R and C from one file, add just that file to the queue.
How the batch queue works
01. Add your multichannel WAVs
Each file is analysed for its Left, Right and Center channels.
02. Check or confirm roles
Files without reliable metadata wait for your mapping, file by file.
03. Extract
Stereo LR and mono C are saved for each file, one file after another.
Your audio stays on your device
Your audio files are processed locally in your browser, one at a time. Only the file being extracted is held in memory; its stereo LR and mono C files are saved and released before the next one starts.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the tool know which channel is Left, Right or Center?
- It reads the WAV channel mask and explicit track names such as L, R and C in iXML or bext metadata. A file whose roles are clearly identified is ready to process. A file without reliable channel-layout metadata cannot be identified automatically: you choose its Left, Right and Center channels yourself before it is processed.
- Does it assume that a 3-channel file is L R C?
- No. Channel count alone says nothing about channel order: a 3-channel file may be L R C or L C R. Without reliable metadata, the file waits for your confirmation.
- Is this a downmix?
- No. Channels are copied sample for sample. Left and Right become one stereo WAV, ordered Left then Right, and Center becomes a separate mono WAV. Nothing is summed, there is no gain change, no resampling and no dither.
- What happens when metadata disagrees?
- When the channel mask and the track names describe different roles, the file is flagged with a metadata conflict and is not processed until you confirm its mapping.
- How are the files named?
- Scene12.wav gives Scene12_LR.wav and Scene12_C.wav. If a name is already taken, _2, _3 and so on are added, so nothing is overwritten.
- Who can use batch processing?
- Batch Processing is a Lifetime Pro feature. It does not use your free conversion or pay-per-use credits.
